A small-town Tennessee 🧡 girl with a big heart, Dr. McKenna loves life, loves people, and has a gift for making everyone around her feel seen, celebrated, and genuinely cared for.
Nothing lights her up more than building meaningful relationships while creating beautiful, confidence-changing smiles. 🥰😁
She graduated from the Middle Tennessee State University Honors College before attending UAB School of Dentistry, where she met and married Dr. Matt. After dental school, they headed to San Antonio, Texas, where she began her career in private practice (and she’ll happily tell you stories from her Texas days).
In 2015, the Gibsons moved back to Madison, Dr. Matt’s hometown. Over the next nine years, Dr. McKenna practiced as a general dentist, including four years leading her own practice. While she loved caring for patients, she discovered another passion along the way: helping people grow. She has a special gift for encouraging others, developing leaders, and helping her team recognize strengths they didn’t even know they had. ⭐️
After nearly a decade as a general dentist, she took a leap of faith to pursue the dream she’d carried since childhood. In 2023, she returned to UAB to complete her orthodontic residency. Affectionately known as the “Mama” of her residency class, she brought years of real-world experience—and plenty of encouragement—to those around her.
She dreams of being the perfect Southern Living hostess, loves gathering people around the table, and believes the smallest thoughtful touches often make the biggest impact.
Most importantly, she is a follower of Jesus, the proud wife of Dr. Matt, and Mama to four wonderfully spirited kiddos. They are the greatest joy of her life and the reason behind everything she does. 💕

A Madison, AL native and outdoor enthusiast, he has an intense passion for people and creating beautiful smiles.
He graduated from Bob Jones High School (⛹🏻♂️🎾) and Auburn University 🦅🐯. He met his other half (Dr. McKenna) in dental school at UAB where he graduated ✨numero uno✨ in his class. (He’s super smart and a bit of a nerd 🤓 - he likes to say he must have been an engineer in a past life). He did an additional year of general dentistry training in San Antonio at the Audie Murphy Veteran’s Affairs Hosptial, before moving back to Madison in 2015. He and Dr. McKenna started their own general dentistry practice in 2016 which is where they learned a thing or two about leading a team and running a business.
After practicing general dentistry for four years, he went back to UAB for orthodontic residency where he served as the calm cool and collected Chief resident. He’s been the brain of GO since 2022!
He loves the Lord, Dr. McK, being Daddy to his 4 kiddos, and any and every hunting season 🦃🦌🦆🐊.
